So apologies for the messiness of this palette but it is much loved and often used as I am sure you can see.
So why do I love it?
Let's start with the packaging. I really like the presentation of this product. Big mirror, magnetic closure, shade names clearly shown - what's not to love.
I also love the variety of shades included. Twelve warm neutrals including mattes satins and frosts.
Top Row (L-R) Oyster Sand, Sugar Milk, Mild Mannered, Dove
Oyster Sand (Duo-Chrome) - A really pretty light pink
Sugar Milk (Matte) - A creamy vanilla
Mild Mannered (Satin) - A rosy light brown
Dove (Frost) - A rich, taupe brown
Middle Row (L-R) Fawn, Cinnamon, Russet, Balanced
Fawn (Frost) - A light mushroom
Cinnamon (Matte) - A super pretty medium warm brown
Russet (Satin) - A dramatic deep burgundy
Balanced (Frost) - An unusual golden peach
Bottom Row (L-R) Cozy, Innocent, Optimistic, Warm Stone
Cozy (Matte) - A cool medium brown
Innocent (Matte) - A gorgeous nude pink
Optimistic (Shimmer) - A bright rosy peach
Warm Stone (Matte w/glitter) - A dark brown with specks of gold
I have used every single colour in this pallette in multiple combinations to make natural looks and stronger, sexier, smoked out eyes.
The pigmentation is SUPERB and the texture is buttery soft - easily equal to the highest end, luxury, make up ranges. The application was so soft, so smooth, these shadows almost felt like creams. They last all day with no creasing or smudging - even without primer.
I could not recommend this palette more highly to you. It is available online here for just £29.95 which is a HUGE bargain for 12 shadows of this quality.
Have you tried the Sigma Warm Neutrals Palette? Do you love it as much as I do?

I have always secretly yearned to be a Celebrity, attending A list parties and film premiers, so when I was lucky enough to be invited to the Regional Premiere of Kingsman - the Secret Service, I instantly started planning what to wear.
The Premiere was being held at one of my favourite cinemas, the Vue at the Glasgow Fort. My regular readers will know that I am a big fan of the Glasgow Fort, a shopping centre situated just off the M8 about five miles outside the city centre. Full of all of my favourite shops, restaurants and bars with plenty of free parking what is not to love.
So the night of the Premiere arrived and suitably attired, my husband and I rocked up and I am not going to lie, I was a little surprised by the lack of paparazzi. We were a little early so popped next door to TGI for a glass of wine. I thought it was a lovely touch that the designated driver got unlimited soft drinks at no extra charge.
The wine was delish but no time for a second before heading to the Vue - where the red carpet was in place and baby I worked it!
As we went into the screening we were handed a glass of fizz, a goody bag and a publicity poster.
We then were linked live to the Leicester Square premier where all the cast were interviewed and the fabulous Take That entertained us all. And then we were all given a second fizz (followed by a third and for some of us greedies, even a FOURTH) as the movie began.
Based upon the acclaimed comic book, Kingsman - The Secret Service tells the story of a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid into the agency's ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.
I am not going to spoil the film for you all by saying too much about the plot but with Matthew Vaughan directing and a cast that includes Colin Firth, Michael Caine, Taron Egerton, Neve Gachev, Mark Hamill, Jack Davenport, Paulina Boneva, Sofia Boutella, Tom Prior and Samuel L. Jackson - you know you are in for a real treat. And this really was a treat of a film. Clever, witty and ever so stylish - Kingsman takes the retro feel of a 60s Bond and brings it bang up to date.
Rated 15 and released tomorrow - Kingsman- the Secret Service really is a must see.

'I absolutely love washing my make up brushes' - is something NO-ONE says EVER! If I am being honest, the reason I have two tubs full of brushes is probably so that I can put off washing them for just a little bit longer. But no matter how hard I try to avoid it, there always comes a day when all of my brushes are used and I simply have no choice but to roll up my sleeves and get on with it. So here it is - my lazy girl's guide to washing my make up brushes.
In between washes or when my brushes aren't too dirty, I use a Brush Cleaner to quickly and easily sanitise my makeup brushes. A couple of sprays directly onto the brush loosens any makeup or dirt then it easily wipes off onto a piece of kitchen roll leaving your brush clean and ready to use again. I really love the Make Up Forever one but it's running out and I bought a cheap Korean one to try next. If it's good I will do a review for you all.
But there are times when there really is no option but to bite the bullet and accept that it is time to get washing.
So here it is - My Lazy Girl's Guide to Washing Make Up Brushes.
First wet your brush. Always be careful to hold it with the bristles pointing down. If the water flows up and gets into the roots of the bristles it can loosen them causing them to shed.
Next put a blob of cleanser onto the palm of your hand. There are custom made brush soaps but I use a hand wash or baby shampoo which does the job perfectly well.
The next bit it my favourite. I swirl the wet bristles round and round in the soap watching as all the makeup is left behind. I find it strangely amusing to watch all the different colours I have been using each brush for.
Once the colour stops coming from the brush, I rinse till the water runs clear.
Once the brush is clean, I blot the liquid onto a towel, reshape the bristles then leave the brushes to dry.
Again its important to avoid liquid running up into the bristles so never, ever put them back into their storage tubs until they are completely dry. I have a handy little shelf in my bathroom that is perfect for the job.
I am not going to lie, it always takes longer than I think for my brushes to dry so I try to wash half one week and the other half the next to avoid having no brushes to use on a Monday morning.
By Tuesday morning though, my brushes are dry and I have to admit that having my brushes all fresh and clean makes me stupidly happy. I guess it's a blogger thang!!!

I have always known about Yves Rocher. As a little girl, I remember my Mum getting little parcels from them full of glamorous treats like beautifully scented skincare or stunning red lipsticks that made me yearn to be a grown up. So it felt like a bit of a coming of age ritual when earlier this month, I received my own little box from Yves Rocher which was filled to the brim with sweetly fragranced products to pamper my skin from head to toe.
Before trying out the products, I did a little research and found out that there actually was a Mr Yves Rocher and he set up his company back in 1959, with the mantra of making beauty through plants accessible to all women. The company even has its own botanical garden in La Gacilly in France, where they grow more than 1100 species of plant for use in their products. The brand is truly global being sold in 88 countries worldwide, with more than 30 million customers. Impressive credentials!
I was sent a variety of products aimed at letting me pamper my skin from head to toe.
First I had a bath using the Noix de Coco Cube Petillant Pour le Bain or the Fizzy Coconut Bath Cube for those of us who aren't bilingual. This product is absolutely amazing. I ran myself a hot bath popped it in and it instantly produced gadzillions of tiny, soft bubbles which as they popped, filled my bathroom with the most glorious fragrance. Imagine the smell of a milky, coconut and vanilla cocktail and you have it. As I lay back I imagined myself to be lying on a beach in the Caribbean - all that was missing was the salsa music. At just £1.50 these little cubes are way cheaper than a trip to the sun, so I will definitely be buying more of these.
When I got out, I smothered my skin in the Organic Oats Creme Fondant Silky Cream. This was the most luxurious product with a whipped texture that made it a delight to use, deeply moisturising but super absorbent so it left no greasy film. I really hate when a product leaves me feeling oily but this one definitely didn't. All this product left behind was the gleam of well conditioned skin and the subtle floral scent of some of those 1100 plants the company grow in their gardens at La Gacilly. Worth every penny of the £13.50 price tag, this product is even better value at the reduced price of £9.45 currently offered.
Next it was my hands turn for a little pampering with the Beaute Des Mains Hand Cream. Another hit with me, I love how deeply this product moisturises my hands without leaving them at all greasy. I stopped writing this review and applied a thick layer just a second ago then was able to resume typing without any waiting time. That's what I want in a hand cream. Another bargain at £1.80 down from it's original price of £3.90.
But the part of my body I think we all neglect the most is our fee. I am certainly guilty of this, especially in the winter when I keep them carefully under wraps. Yves Rocher have just the product not only to condition those nasty areas of hard and thickened skin but to relax and soothe my tired, achey tootsies. I wasn't sure how much I was going to enjoy this product as it contains bio organic lavender and I am not really a fan of lavender which smells a bit too much like my granny for my taste. But it would have been rude not to try it right, so I popped a little on and started to massage it in and was blown away by the sensation. The product has a strong menthol fragrance, no scent of lavender at all. When you first squeeze it onto your fingers, it has the consistency of gel but as you massage it onto your feet, it melts into water, soothing away all aches and pains, leaving your feet feeling soothed and relaxed. It is an absolute treat and currently available at the sale price of £2.50 reduced from £5.
After using all of these lovely skincare products I felt pampered from top to toe. If you fancy pampering yourself, you should check out the full range of Yves Rocher products for yourself by visiting their website here. There are huge discounts all over the site and free shipping to the UK if you spend just £26 - and at these prices, you would get a helluva lot of product for your twenty six quid.
If though like me you are trying to limit your spending this January then you are in luck because one of my lovely readers will be receiving this full set of Top to Toe Skincare from Yves Rocher, absolutely free. Enter using the Rafflecopter form below.

I am a Lawyer! I am a Scottish solicitor specialising in Criminal Law. It can be a very stressful role but I love it. I wouldn't go so far as to say I love getting up in the morning but I can honestly say that I enjoy every minute of my job and get huge satisfaction from it. Even if I won the lottery tomorrow, I wouldn't quit my job. I would love to start a few hours later though.
I live on a tiny Scottish Island! Well that's not strictly true. My home is in Glasgow but since I was a child, my family have had a little bolt hole, in the village of Kilchatten Bay on the beautiful West Coast Isle of Bute. As well as it's stunning scenery and utter tranquility, what I love about Kilchatten Bay is how easy it is to get to. I can jump into my car at 5 o'clock on Friday and just 45 mins later I will be sitting on the ferry, watching mainland Scotland disappear over the horizon taking all of my weekday stresses with it.
I have two West Highland Terriers. They love Kilchatten Bay just as much as I do. The eldest is called Choo in tribute to my favourite shoes and the youngest is named Stan after Stanislav Varga, a footballer who used to play for Glasgow Celtic. They are very demanding little creatures, all terriers are little terrors, but they are devoted to each other and to us and I couldn't imagine life without them.
I got married in the Dominican Republic. It was a wonderful celebration of love and family and one of my most precious memories. Our tenth anniversary is on January 9th 2018 and I would love to go back to the Dom Rep and renew our vows.
I have two adult children. My son is almost 24 and my daughter will be 21 on Thursday. For most of my childrens' younger years it was just the three of us and at times things were pretty difficult but somehow they have both grown into clever, compassionate, remarkable adults and I am hugely proud of them both.
I have really enjoyed writing this post and would love to find out more about you. Why not write a similar post, and tag me so that I can find out Five Things I never knew about YOU!!

It's really snowy in Scotland at the moment. It looks so pretty but it is so cold that if I don't step up my skincare routine, my skin will really suffer. Most at risk are my hands, in years past when I didn't look after them properly in weather like this, they have become red and sore and my nails have got so brittle, they have snapped right off - eurgh!
This year I have being trying out the Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream which I got in a GWP just before Christmas and so far, I am very impressed. It comes in a practical tube, perfect for popping in my hand bag so I can apply it on the go. It has the texture of a cold cream, thick without being too heavy or greasy. It absorbs quickly and easily into my hands - I really cannot cope with creams that take ages to sink in leaving me flapping my hands about like a demented goose!
I love the scent of this hand cream. It's not flowery or too perfumey, it smells like babies - you know that gorgeous clean and powdery smell of babies that have just been bathed. Best of all though, this product really treats my hands and nails, keeping them feeling soft, comfortable and well moisturised, whatever the weather - and no more snapping.
Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream is £21 for a 100mls from Boots but whenever you are buying Clarins it is worth shopping around because there are LOTS of great deals on line. The best I could find for you today was NVS Pharmacy where it was almost 25% off at just £16.
What is your favourite hand cream?

Usually by this stage of January the cold weather is starting to get to me and my New Years resolutions start to slip. So when on Saturday my January edition of My Little Box arrived, I was thrilled to see it was a My Little Energy Box and was full of little treats to help re-motivate me and generally just cheer me up.
The first of this months special treat was a monthly calendar, really handy and very sweet with its shoe print.
The next treat is this gymn bag which if I am honest isn't sturdy enough for me for the gymn but which will make a PERFECT swimming bag with its cute nautical styling.
My favourite part of each box is the beauty bag. Look at this pretty little cotton bag, every one is different but each month they contain at least three products. One will be from their own beauty commonly and generally two are full sized.
This months selection was fantastic. A gel textured moisturiser called the Photo Hydra from Talika, a My Little Beauty Energising Spray for the face and body and a gorge deep red nail polish in the shade Tate from Nails Inc.
I have tried all of the usual Beauty Boxes and have grown bored or disillusioned with them all but My Little Box is a really unique concept with its mix of Style, Beauty and Lifestyle all for just £15 inc p&p. Have you tried My Little Box? What did you think?

I am officially obsessed with everything Kardashian - their figures, clothes, lifestyles and even their LIPS!! And I am not alone. As I write this, fans continue to tweet speculation about whether Kylie has had a lip job and what lip colour she uses. But dig a little harder and you will find that someone close to Kylie has already let that particular cat out of the bag, her very own big sister Kimmy. In her interview with our very own Sam and Nic over at Pixiwoo, Kim Kardashian spilled the beans about Kylie's fav lip products and even shared the secret of her own perfect pout.
Turns out that what Kylie uses to line and fill in her lips is one single lipliner in the shade Soar by Mac. Yup, it really is that simple. No lipstick, no gloss, just Soar - simple but oh so effective.
Kim herself told the Chapman sisters that her fav lip liner is also by Mac although her shade of choice is Stripdown. Unlike Kylie, Kim outlines her lips with Stripdown, fills in with Angel then tops with lots and lots of gloss.
Now obviously having learned the Kardashian's lip secrets, I headed straight to the Mac website to purchase the lipliners but unfortunately both products were out of stock - BOO! Luckily Mac run a notification scheme and within a few weeks I had received an email letting me know that both shades were back in stock.
Luscious lips here I come.
If you want to watch the Chapman's interview with Kim for yourself, you can find it here.

I love my hair, I do but I really don't treat it very well. It's thick and naturally very dark but I bleach it to a light caramel shade, wear it long and use heat on it every other day - sorry hair!! I do try to make amends by using really good quality products to cleanse, condition and protect it but it still tends to be dry, coarse and quite frizzy and unruly.
So when Look Fantastic, the ultimate Mecca for hair, beauty and all things gorgeous, offered me the opportunity to try their new, luxury, haircare line, Kebelo, I was delighted to accept.
Kebelo was founded in 2010 by three brothers, all third generation, haircare professionals. Their research revealed that a staggering 86% of women suffer from frizzy, damaged, unruly, dry hair - I am so glad it is not just me. The brothers created a range of products which combines the most effective haircare ingredients from nature using innovative science. I like my products to be SLS, Sulphate and Paraben free and no Kebelo product contains any of those nasties.
Before I start to review the products, can we just take a moment to appreciate how beautifully wrapped these products are. They arrived packaged in an embossed box tied with a purple satin bow - what a gorgeous present this would make. I untied the ribbon and inside was another box printed with a picture of the Ultimate Enriching Range and some information about the products. That box contained an Enriching Shampoo, Enriching Conditioner and Enriching Masque.
As an extra treat from the lovely people at Look Fantastic, I also received the Silk Cream and the Kebelo Clarifying Shampoo.
The Enriching products are practically packaged in plastic squeezy tubes which makes them perfect for use in the shower. How posh is the pink and aubergine colour scheme? Very boutique hotel!
The Clarifying Shampoo is packaged similarly but in an ice blue colour scheme, the Silk Cream comes in a purple bottle with a pump applicator - perfect!
So the packaging is gorgeous, but what about the products themselves. The ingredients are top quality, guar sugar, wheat protein, bran, grape seed and argan oil to nourish hair and leave it smooth and shiny.
The first thing I noticed when I first used the Kebelo Enriching Range was the gorgeous smell. I was in the shower the first time I used the products and within seconds the fragrance filled the bathroom. The shampoo foamed well but the foam felt really soft and creamy so I knew it wouldn't strip my hair like some detergent based shampoos can. After shampoo'ing I grabbed a towel, blotted the water from my hair and applied a small blob of the hair masque which I combed through with my tangle teaser.
I really like masques - I try to use them on my hair at least once a week, twice if I have the time. The directions say to leave this one on for 5-10 minutes but I like to wrap my head in cling film and leave a masque on for as long as I can. The masque rinsed out really easily, leaving my hair feeling clean and already noticeably softer. Before turning the dryer on, I used a pump of the Silk Cream. This is a fab product which contains protein to improve the strength of your hair, argan and jojoba oil for shine and a heat protector and colour lock.
What I really noticed after using the Kebelo products was that my hair dried much more quickly than normal, sat really well and felt super healthy. I felt like a shampoo model with glossy, bouncy hair and I have to admit, I did a fair bit of swishing it around over the next few days.
The next time I washed my hair, I used the Enriching Shampoo and Conditioner. The conditioner is a lighter product than the masque but with the same gorgeous fragrance. Again I used the Silk Cream before drying and the results were just as fab as before. Swishy, shiny, bouncy hair that looked and smelled fantastic.
I use a clarifying shampoo every 6-8 washes. It's important to do this or product build up will make your hair dull and prevent treatments being absorbed. I dread it though because clarifying shampoos are usually harsh, stripping my hair, leaving it tangled and horribly dry. The Clarifying Shampoo from Kebelo is the mildest such product I have tried but it still effectively detoxed my hair.
The Kebelo products really are top end, high performance, haircare but I am pleased to say they come at relatively affordable prices. The entire Ultimate Enriching Range which contains a whopping 600 mls of product costs just £29.85 from Look Fantastic here. The Silk Cream costs £12.95 for 30 mls (which would last forever) here and the Clarifying Shampoo costs £12.95 for 250 mls here.
The Kebelo products have worked really well for me and I am really happy with the improvement in the way my hair looks and feels. If you are one of the unlucky 87% who have dry frizzy or damaged hair then I highly recommend you try them for yourself. But it is not just this hair type that Kebelo products treat, if you want beautiful, healthy hair, check out the full Kebelo range from Look Fantastic here.

My regular readers will remember that back in December, I wrote about the Clarins beauty haul that I got for absolutely nothing!!! If you missed that post you can find it here.
Amongst the many products that I got that day were three standout skincare products; a facial tanner which I reviewed here, a hand and nail cream that I am testing now and Clarins' hero product, the Pure Melt Cleansing Gel.
I love a good cleanser and my cupboards are full of different types - from cleansing balms like the wonderful Eve Lom Cleanser which I reviewed here to oils, waters and pretty much every type of cleanser you can imagine. Until now though I had never tried a gel as I have mature combination skin and always suspected a gel would be overly astringent for my skin type.
I had read all the hype about this particular product, all my fav celeb bloggers rave about it but I just thought it would be wrong for me.
What a mistake!!
Let me tell you more about this remarkable cleanser. It comes in a tube which makes it really easy and hygienic to use. I squeeze a small blob of the honey coloured gel onto my finger tips then massage over dry skin. When the gel comes into contact with my face it instantly transforms to a light oil which effortlessly melts away every trace of my makeup and the grime of city life. It literally takes a couple of seconds then I either just splash it off or if I want to add a little exfoliation, I wipe away with a clean wet flannel.
What I love most about this cleanser is the way it leaves my skin looking and feeling. Forget any worries about a gel being drying, that could not be further from the truth. The first time I used the Pure Melt Cleansing Gel, I couldn't stop touching my face. Naughty I know but it just felt so incredibly soft. After a week of daily use, I could actually see a tangible difference in my skin. It was really clear, well hydrated and had a lovely glow.
So if you like me you have steered clear of gel cleansers thinking they might be too harsh for your skin, then think again and give this one a go. The Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel is widely available for a very reasonable £20 for 125ml if bought from Clarins, with many special offers available online making it even more affordable.
Give it a try, it's highly recommended !!!

Every one has their own ideas about what make a woman beautiful, but for me there are some non-negotiables, which I like to call the ten commandments of beauty.
1. Look After Your Skin - It doesn't have to cost the world, but a good consistent skin care routine is vital to looking good now and for decades to come. Keep your skin scrupulously clean and well moisturised. Most important of all, even if you live in the UK, the sun is strong enough to damage your skin all year round so never skip the sunblock.
2. Eat Better - I really believe in the old saying that you are what you eat so try to eat as much good food as you possibly can. Wholefoods, vegetables, fruit and protein can all make you feel great and look better so make sure you eat plenty every day. Try to watch your sugar intake, science now suggests that not only will eating too much sugar make you fat, it could actually damage the structure of your skin, causing it to age prematurely. So come on, Xmas is over, stand back from the chocolate, your skin will thank you for it.
3. Sleep More - I just can't stress enough how important it is to get enough sleep. As well as making us look awful, lack of sleep has been connected with a lack of concentration and focus, with weight gain and even with mental health problems. I am so interested in this topic that I will be doing an entire post on it in my Healthy Wednesday Series, so if you suffer from insomnia, watch out for that coming soon.
4. Stay Hydrated - You all know the importance of drinking enough, and if you don't, watch this space, because staying hydrated is another topic I plan to write about soon. The good news is that although alcohol doesn't count, other liquids and even some food, like fruit and veg really does.
5. Keep Your Hair Healthy - There is nothing nicer than a head of bouncy, glossy curls but using heat on long hair can be really damaging and leave us with hair like a brillo pads if we aren't careful. To combat the frizz factor, I swear by using regular treatments and for me the most effective are often home made. To check out my homemade haircare remedies read this post, or even this one which concentrates on the benefits of coconut oil. Whatever you choose, a hair mask once or twice a week will soon transform your tresses leaving you with the long luscious locks you have dreamed of.
6. Moisturise Your Body - Most of us are pretty good about skincare for the face, but lots of us including me can be a bit lazy about body care especially in wintertime. Standing butt naked and shivering in the bathroom every morning applying body lotion is miserable so instead I drench my skin in moisture a couple of times a week. After exfoliating in my night time bath, I cover my skin in body oil, then apply a thick body cream over the top to hold the oil in place. I then pop on cotton PJs and sleep the sleep of the righteous knowing that by morning my skin will be sorted. If you want to be especially saintly, you could treat your hands and feet at the same time!
7. Look After Your Lips - Now that Xmas is over, the next big occasion to look forward to is Valentines Day and you know what that means - lots of lip puckering. To make sure your lips look juicy and plump, start looking after them now. It is so easy- whenever they look a bit worse for wear, simply exfoliate with sugar then smear on a generous amount of balm. Result - a plumped up pout!
8. Regular Manicures and Pedicures - Nothing looks better than well groomed hands and feet with nicely painted nails. The cost of regular mani/pedis can be prohibitive though so I like to do it myself at home. For step by step guides to salon perfect hands and feet, click here and here.
9. Fake It - While some people look really beautiful with pale skin, a tan makes me look and feel healthier and more attractive. As I don't do sunbeds and live in the Uk where the sun hibernates for at least 6 months of the year, self tan is my friend. No-one wants to look orange though and fake tanned hands are not a good look (I am looking at you Becca), so it's worth taking the time to learn how to give yourself the perfect sunless tan. For my top three tips, read here.
10. Dare to Wear A Bright Lip - I am a huge fan of a bright lip. For me a quick slick of red, hot pink or juicy plum makes me look instantly pulled together and somehow more confident than when I wear a less vibrant shade.
So there you have them - my ten commandments of beauty. What are the beauty rules you live by?
Saturday, 3 January 2015
Happy Saturday to you. For me Saturdays are all about relaxing and looking back at the week's best bits. This week has had more best bits than most so it has NOT been easy to choose just three. After much um'ing and ah'ing though, I have finally managed to whittle it down. So here they are - This Weeks Best Bits.
It is a bit of a Christmas tradition for my family to go to the pantomime together in the last week of December. This year we went to the King's Theatre in Glasgow, a beautiful, traditional theatre, which opened in 1904 and has being showing Pantomimes for 50 years. This year's offering was Peter Pan starring Greg McHugh and it was so funny and utterly charming. It's still showing so if you haven't seen it yet and live in or around Glasgow, I highly recommend you pop along to the King's and check it out.
My most used makeup product this week is definitely the By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Bronze Moon. I love the formula of these products and often use them as a base to make other shadows last but this colour is so pretty that I have used it almost every day this week with just a hint of brown liner for definition. I love this product and will be doing a full review within the next week or two so watch out for that.
I am all about the sparkle at Christmas and this top has featured in quite a few festive outings this year. I like the cut of it, those straps are wide enough to hide my bra straps, and the weight means it hangs well which is very flattering. The petrol blue colour is unusual and the sequins are quite big meaning it is super sparkly which is perfect for this time of year. What I love most about it though is that I can pop it on with jeans and boots and be really comfy while still looking suitably christmassy. I got this top for £80 from Monsoon last year which is pricey but I reckon I have already had my money's worth and can see this keeping its place in my festive wardrobe for years to come.
For now though, its time to put away all things sparkly and look forward to 2015. Hopefully this is going to be a fabulous year for us all bringing good health, wealth and happiness.
I am starting the year with a Spending Detox in an attempt to get my finances under some kind of control. If you would like to join me, you can find out more here.
Happy New Year xxx
