My Kate Spade Initial Necklace

Wednesday, 27 May 2015

If you read yesterday’s post then you will already know I bought my phone a new Kate Spade case but what I didn’t tell you was that I also treated myself to one of the designer’s new Initial Pendants. Until now I had been wearing a silver pendant from Nude Jewellery (here it is) which was not dissimilar in terms of shape but now that it is summer and I am a little more tanned, I prefer my jewellery to be gold toned.

I first saw this necklace on Lily Pebbles and became a little obsessed with it. I searched everywhere before discovering that it hadn’t been released yet. I had almost forgotten about it when I went to the Kate Spade section of the Nordstrom website for my phone case but I spotted it there and as soon as I did, I knew that it had to be mine.

I love the simplicity of the design of this necklace. The “J” is in a clean, elegant font and the round disc is a lovely buttery colour of gold which flatters my skin tone. I wear the pendant very short but there is a lengthy extender chain so you could wear it but lower on your necklace if you preferred. This truly is a piece of jewellery that anyone could wear.

It is on the back of the disc that the magic is though – a secret little motivational message to keep close to your heart. You are “One in a million“.

The Kate Spade necklace would make a beautiful gift or you could like me just treat yourself. You know you’re worth it x
