The Health and Fitness Benefits of Coconut Oil

My regular readers will know that for the last few weeks I have been looking at the various benefits of Coconut Oil. 
First I looked at the benefits of Oil Pulling with Coconut Oil here, then I looked at the ways Coconut Oil can be used as part of your beauty routine here. Today in the third and final part of my mini series, I will be looking at the health and fitness benefits of this miracle product.
Before I start though can I remind you of the importance of buying a good quality virgin oil and to stay away from hydrogenated coconut oil. We have all heard about the difference between good and bad fats. Hydrogenated Coconut Oil is full of unhealthy, bad fats. Virgin Coconut Oil on the other hand is full of all of those good fats which are crucial for a happy healthy body. 
So what can your tub of Virgin Coconut Oil do for your health and fitness?
1. Coconut Oil is Great for Your Heart
The lauric acid in coconut oil has the power to keep your heart happy and healthy by lowering bad cholesterol (LDL) and increasing the good cholesterol (HDL).

2. Coconut Oil Helps Prevent and Treat Candida
Coconut Oil has a high level of Caprylic Acid which is known to kill off excess Candida by targeting harmful bacteria.

Coconut Oil tastes amazing. It has a more subtle flavour than coconut water and can be used to flavour and sweeten dishes without totally overpowering them. 
You can add Coconut Oil to your diet very easily, just use it to flavour your coffee, cook with it or take a spoonful a few times a day as a supplement. It really doesn’t make a difference how you take it, just start adding it to your diet so you too can experience the health and fitness benefits of coconut oil.
