This is the last desk lamp that you will ever need. I went back and fourth on this purchase for over a year as it is not the cheapest but in the end after taking it out of the box and setting it up, I realized it was worth every penny. The pictures/videos/reviews don't really do this thing any justice, it is an artistic statement as much as it is a desk lamp. My work requires 18 hours of either staring at small circuit components though magnifying glasses, or at a computer screen though blue light blocking glasses. Eyestrain now can lead to the need for corrective lenses later on in life, knowing this, how could one justify not providing their one pair of eyes with the best possible lighting? This is more than a light for your workspace, its a beautiful investment in your health. The app used to control all other Dyson products around the house adds the light seamlessly. If you are on the fence on this one, I assure you, it will not be a purchase that you regret.
