So after moving very little and eating far too much for the last few months, its time to stop that wagon and climb back on board. If you are thinking about doing the same then hopefully you will find some inspiration in my weekly Fitness Friday posts for recipes, exercise apps, gymn playlists and even some workout gear.
Eat – My favourite meal this week was Enchillada Spaghetti. I found the recipe on a blog called She Cooks She Eats which is written by the lovely Amy and follows her attempts to lose weight and contains lots of delicious recipes that she has created along the way. Most of the recipes are pointed for Slimming World but they would be perfect for pretty much any diet plan. The Enchillada Spaghetti was utterly delicious with a rich cheesey sauce full of chicken strips, veggies and delicious spices. Definitely one that I will make again.
Style – It was my birthday this week and one of the presents I got was an sports watch from Apple. I will do a full review once I have used it for a few weeks but so far I am loving it. It has a whole section related to health, it monitors your activity and keeps an eye on your heart rate. It also stores music so I can go out for a run without my phone and if I get a call or text, I can take them on the watch! Amazing!
Move – I have finally started running again. It has been so long that I have decided to redo the C25K and I have completed the first two weeks already. I have been combining my runs with walking my dog so as I get fitter so does wee Stan. I have completed the program in the past and got to the point where I was running regularly for about an hour. Can I do it again? I will keep you informed.
